Integration
Magpi integration with tools like Zapier and OpenFn allow non-technical staff to connect Magpi data with more than 1000 other apps, including Excel, Salesforce, and SQL Server. Magpi easily exports to CSV and Excel that makes Performance Engineering Reporting easier for larger solar portfolios.

All Magpi users receive free support by email. Additional support — whether voice, teleconference, or on- the-ground — is also available, along with white-labeling, custom programming, and integration support.

Mapping
Mapping at this point is a requirement for any solar application: any useful app needs to be able to record locations and display them in useful ways on a map interface. Magpi's included GPS and mapping for more than a decade and it has been one of the most popular features.
Team coordinator - lone field worker management
Most organizations involved in installation or servicing of solar (or other) sites have some system in place to keep track of workers and worker safety. At its most basic this might just be a "touch base" team phone call in the morning, or a WhatsApp group. A more sophisticated system might use Magpi or other service to send out an automated check-in each morning and evening.

“Previously the data went through a three stage input process, often with a significant lag time of a week or two, before the data ended up in the production database. The process was labour intensive and prone to keying errors. Now, with our operators using the Magpi app at the wellsite, the data is visible as soon as has been collected. We then automatically batch-load to our database from the Magpi system overnight, at the same time as we load the telemetry data.
